The nonsense of 'knowledge management'

This is an article by TD Wilson which goes in to detail what knowledge management is all about. The author draws a brief dicussion on how the concept information relates or is sometimes confused with knowledge. He further discusses how knowledge can be facilitated and managed within organisations. In short he defines knowledge as as what we know: knowledge involves the mental processes of comprehension, understanding and learning that go on in the mind and only in the mind, however much they involve interaction with the world outside the mind, and interaction with others. It a very interesting article for information and knowledge managers to get more insight on the field.
